Why I Joined the Team

When people learn that I work at Caldwell Hospice, they assume I'm a nurse or social worker...but the work we do in business services is just as important. I enjoy making sure everything runs smoothly with insurance companies and billing...so that our clinical staff, patients and families don't have to worry about that. They can concentrate on what's really important to them.
Judy Mautino
Business Services
Caldwell Hospice team member since 2003.

I am a Caldwell Hospice team member because I see the difference it makes for our patients—a higher quality of life and a peace for the patients as well as the family...and that makes a difference in me too.
Chuck Crisp, RN
Intake/Admissions Team Leader
Caldwell Hospice team member since 2011.

We take great pride and care in creating a calm and peaceful environment in both our patient care units. Making sure that patients and families are comfortable when they're here may seem like a small thing, but when you're facing a difficult time those small things can really make a difference.
Martha Bowman
Housekeeping
Caldwell Hospice team member since 2017.

My life is enriched by what we do because I see the difference it makes in the lives of our patients and their families. Hospice care extends beyond just the treatment of physical symptoms. We also consider the emotional, social and practical needs of patients and families...and provide care that is tailored and personal for each person.
Jenni Patterson, BSW
Medical Social Worker
Caldwell Hospice team member since 2005.
